Community Impact
The success of ServiceMaster Brands’ franchisees is not just measured by industry accolades but also by the positive impact they have on their local communities. Franchise owners often engage in community service, support local events, and provide essential services during times of crisis. Examples include our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand’s national giving program, Movers for Moms®, which collects essential and feel-good items for mothers living in homeless or domestic abuse shelters and delivers those items on or before Mother’s Day. This past spring, our locations worked to collect a total of 431,403 donations for those in need. Additionally, our ServiceMaster Restore® and ServiceMaster Clean® brands’ We Serve: Veterans initiative helps support Hire Heroes USA to raise funds for veterans and their spouses to find their next career. Along with an annual golf tournament, hosted by corporate, franchisees have integrated this initiative into their local communities.
Strategic Franchise Development
As a company, there are ambitious goals of expanding the reach and influence of our brands through strategic franchise development. Daniel Laughlin, SVP of Development, emphasized this by stating, “We are excited to continue to expand our footprint across all of our brands in areas where we are underpenetrated and new whitespace territories.” This approach not only aims to strengthen the presence of existing brand territories but also to explore and establish a foothold in new markets. By identifying and targeting underpenetrated areas and untapped territories, ServiceMaster Brands is poised to drive growth and innovation, ensuring a robust and dynamic future for the company.
