ServiceMaster Brands, TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK
Empowering Women On and Off the Dance Floor: Madison Letwinski’s Story
In celebration of Women’s History Month, we are proud to spotlight Madison Letwinski, a dedicated Franchise Marketing Specialist at ServiceMaster® Brands, working with our TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK® brand. Madison’s journey and insights offer a powerful testament to the strength of women in the workplace.
Madison’s passion for women’s empowerment is deeply rooted in her experience as a college dance team coach. She has witnessed firsthand the shifting perception of women’s sports, where the athleticism, skill, and entertainment value of female athletes are increasingly recognized. A pivotal moment for her was the collective realization that women’s sports deserve the same recognition and investment as men’s sports. This ongoing evolution, marked by growing fan bases and media attention, inspires Madison and the female college athletes she coaches, driving them to push boundaries and strive for excellence.
In her personal life, Madison finds inspiration in the everyday heroes within her own family. Her mom, bonus mom, sisters, cousins, and aunts embody resilience, compassion, and unwavering strength. These women rise above challenging circumstances, hold the family together, offer support, and provide a listening ear. Their daily acts of heroism inspire Madison and remind her of the power of strong, supportive women.
For Madison, being a strong leader means fostering a team where everyone feels seen and valued. She emphasizes the importance of creating a safe space for sharing ideas, regardless of background or skill level. Strong leaders, she believes, possess both strength and grace, knowing when to push and when to support. This approach builds a collaborative environment where diverse ideas and people can flourish.
Madison’s advice to women working towards leadership roles is to embrace their unique perspectives and share their ideas confidently. She encourages taking risks and presenting creativity with confidence. Leadership development, she notes, is a continuous journey that requires patience, persistence, and a commitment to growth. Consistency and perseverance, even in the face of adversity, are key to achieving leadership goals.
Throughout her life, Madison has been inspired by many strong women, including former coaches, teammates, and mentors. These women have shown her that leadership is not about perfection but about passion, commitment, and support. Madison strives to embody their strength and grace, allowing their examples to guide her actions and shape her perspective.
Reflecting on her journey, Madison would advise her younger self that “no’s” are not a reflection of worth but stepping stones for growth. She would encourage embracing challenges and recognizing that every attempt to try again demonstrates incredible courage. This courage, persistence, and refusal to give up are what ultimately define a great leader. Madison assures her younger self that hard work will pay off in the end.
Maddi’s story is a reminder of the impact of strong, supportive women and the importance of perseverance and courage in leadership. Her journey and insights continue to inspire those around her, bringing out the best in others, making her a strong female leader within ServiceMaster Brands.
